Free Cease Communications Letter

At any time, a consumer has the right to request a debt collector to cease communications with the consumer.  This request must be done in writing.

Click this link to get a free cease communication letter sent to your e-mail address.

Once the debt collector has received your request to cease communications, the debt collector may not communicate with you except  to advise you that the debt collector’s further efforts are being terminated; to notify you that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or where applicable, to notify you that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy.
